About Eyemouth

Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders is home to HMS Pathfinder — the first Royal Navy vessel sunk by submarine torpedo in World War I — and several other accessible wrecks lying in 12–25m of clear North Sea water. The reefs around Cathedral Rock and Haunted Rock share DNA with the nearby St Abbs nature reserve: dense anemone coverage, wolf fish in residence, edible crabs of impressive size. Eyemouth dive charters run regularly; the town has serviced the dive community for decades and has good support infrastructure.
