About Kinlochbervie

Kinlochbervie is a remote fishing harbour on the northwest Sutherland coast — one of the most northerly accessible dive bases in Scotland. The Arctic-influenced water is exceptionally clear (15–20m vis is common) and cold (7–10°C year-round), supporting extraordinary deep-water communities: large aggregations of Norway lobster in the fjord systems, cold-water coral structures on offshore banks, and dramatic rocky terrain at 10–35m almost entirely free of diver pressure. This is true expedition diving — plan logistics carefully and bring thermals.
