Malin Head at the northernmost tip of Ireland is where the Atlantic and the North Channel converge in a consistent churn of cold, clear water. The kelp forests to 15m give way to open sand channels and deep reef walls beyond — the diving is consistently good but the site demands respect: currents can run at 2+ knots, Atlantic swell generates surge on exposed faces, and the remote location means self-sufficiency matters. The reward is pristine Atlantic diving with sharks, seals and wreck sites rarely visited by sport divers.
